Getting Ready

The crew is gearing up for our one week prep for the Health Fair on March 16th and 17th.  Kelly will present the Live Well! information along with the Family Connections Baseline Home Environment Survey and consent forms.  (See Welcome for more information.)
The students have been researching the information they will be presenting at their tables.  We will have displays and handouts for menu planning and portion control, recipes with taste samples, reading food labels, comparison shopping, bioimpedance, and exercise tips and suggestions for at home use and around Parma.

Kelly and Tami spent some time making phone calls to prospective parents inviting them to sign up and/or stop by the Health Fair on March 16th and 17th in coordination with the parent-teacher conferences.  There will be childcare provided and lots of information to take home for added convenience.  We hope to have a generous turnout.  The school nurse will be attending and several additional booths will be set up by The Lion's Club and RADAR (Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource).

We have endless support from the city of Parma.  Thank you!
